The USDCAD technical analysis of the price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows USDCAD,H4 is rising after returning above the 200-period moving average MA(200). We believe the bullish movement will continue after the price breaches above the upper bound of the Donchian channel at 1.3733. A level above this can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below 1.3676. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved to the next fractal low indicator, following Parabolic signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level without reaching the order, we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Canadian Consumer Price Index growth accelerated in May. Will the USDCAD price rebounding continue?
Canada’s statistics agency reported Consumer Price Index growth in Canada rose to 2.9% on annual basis in May - the CPI had risen 2.7% in April. The monthly rate of inflation was 0.6 per cent, up from 0.5% in April. Services inflation was up 4.6%, compared with 4.2% in April. Food prices rose 2.4%, versus 2.3% in April. Higher than expected Canadian inflation lowers the likelihood of Bank of Canada easing again in July, which is bullish for Canadian dollar and bearish for USDCAD pair. However, the current setup is bullish for the pair.
